INDEPENDENT LEARNING
About this study guide
Sophie’s Instrument Lab provides detailed instrument study notes and recall prompts, including material adapted from the owner’s supplied course packets. It is an independent student project. No school, examination provider or manufacturer sponsors or endorses this app.
Use this guide alongside supervised instruction and the instructions for the exact instrument you hold. It does not assess clinical competency, provide patient-specific treatment advice or guarantee an examination result.
Content and images
The detailed packet-based lessons have been restored, including course-specific sequences, angle targets and maintenance cues. Their source labels distinguish these from general guidance. Supplied flashcard screenshots informed a small number of instrument review additions. This private study edition has not been cleared for redistribution; a future public edition needs a separate wording, permissions and clinical review that preserves useful detail. Unrelated anatomy and fluoride flashcards were not added. The instrument photo spaces are empty; obsolete photo and 3D asset bundles have been removed from the published build.
Future photos and demonstrations should be created by the app owner or used with documented permission. Do not upload identifiable patient material. Instrument names identify designs; they do not imply endorsement or ownership of a manufacturer’s trademarks.

Reference checking is focused on the listed instrument design and maintenance topics. It is not an external clinical peer review. Hands-on stroke technique and equipment handling should be reviewed by a qualified dental hygiene educator before broad educational distribution. This page does not claim that rewriting establishes legal clearance for every possible use.
Privacy and device storage
This version has no student account, advertising integration, analytics script or patient chart entry. Self-review checkmarks are stored in this browser’s local storage. They are not sent by this app to a student database and may be lost when browser data is cleared. Mirror-practice marks exist only in the current page session.
The hosting service may process ordinary technical request data to deliver and secure the site. External source links use their own privacy policies. A future Google Play package must be reviewed separately for any SDKs, permissions or data collection it adds.
After this content revision, older index-based review checkmarks are not reused because their lesson meanings changed.
Before public distribution
Complete educator review of clinical technique, document rights to any new media, and check the final app package’s privacy disclosures. Publication of this private website does not submit an app to Google Play.
